How it Works
YouReport is your opportunity to report on news, events and all things interesting in your area.
It can be your take on a political or sporting event, an emergency happening on your street, a report on a local festival or simply something you want to get off your chest.
Simply post your photo, video or story to YouReport or use the Newstalk mobile app. Then share it on your social networks getting as many views as possible once your story is published.
When the clock stops, the top four YouReporters whose individual articles had the most views are in with a chance to win the weekly prize. The final winner is chosen by Newstalk and announced on the Right Hook every Wednesday and published on the Newstalk website.
As you upload more reports, you'll earn badges indicating your status as a YouReporter. If you report regularly, you could be awarded reporter, journalist or editor status. The higher your status, the greater your profile.
So what should you post?
Well anything you want. This is your way to share with the world the news as you see it. Tell us about local events in your area and map them on our interactive map.
